As an adaptable and caring professional, Patrick assists his clients in reaching their life goals both, individually and relationally.

Patrick utilizes a broad range of therapeutic techniques that are empirically sound with the flexibility to meet the goals of his clients. This is achieved by utilizing one’s current strengths at the same time discovering, and then implementing, new skills in which a client can employ as they move forward on their journey of life.

Qualifications – Patrick is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC); a former adjunct professor of psychology at Concordia University (2018-19); and at Jackson College (2019). He currently is acquiring Level 1 training in The Gottman Method Couples Therapy to utilize the empirical research to help marital couples grow their relationship. This therapy is based on 40 years of research with more than 3,000 couples. It’s designed to help couples manage conflict, to deepen friendship and intimacy, and to navigate life together with shared life purpose and dreams; all of which lead to a healthier and happier future.

Individual Counseling – Patrick strives to help facilitate a safe, confidential, and professional environment that will allow for encountering growth and change in his client’s life. Individual counseling is an opportunity to come alongside and invite accountability, exploration, and processing of the areas of life that are challenging. This model promotes self-insight, empowerment, and resolution for clients.

Pre-Marriage, Marriage Couples Counseling – Patrick strives to create and facilitate a safe, open, caring, and professional environment for couples struggling in their relationship. No matter what your status might be, pre-marital, marriage therapy can be insightful to improving your relationship with your significant other. This is an opportunity to challenge your relationship by strengthening what is working and addressing areas of improvement. No matter the area or topic, couples counseling creates a comprehensive and collaborative plan to help facilitate improvement, commitment, and overall satisfaction between you and your significant other.

Christian Counseling – Patrick has educational background to utilize therapy that includes a faith-based perspective. Foundation within faith can help bring insight, promote growth and encourage his clients as they journey through life. Incorporating a Biblical theology worldview to therapy is another way in developing a deeper relationship with self, others and God. Patrick can assist in utilizing elements of both theology and counseling to address all areas of need.
