Noor Hamzeh

Noor Hamzeh, M.A., T.L.L.P., received her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology. She is currently working towards a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Noor has experience working with women who are survivors of human sex trafficking as well as substance abuse. Her education gave her opportunities to work with and provide treatment plans for bipolar disorder, PTSD, and anxiety. Noor also has relevant coursework and experience with psychological testing and evaluations.

With a humanistic approach to therapy, Noor bases her therapy style on client-centered methods that allow clients to strengthen interpersonal relationships while encouraging self-awareness. Noor believes it is most imperative to build rapport with clients in order to ensure therapy is successful in its goals; this is with the establishment of a healthy therapeutic relationship. She believes rapport leads to comfortability, offering a safe space for clients as they share their personal journeys with her. Noor holds space that fosters personal growth, self-actualization, and just as important, being in the here and now. She believes to be present in the here and now inspires therapeutic progress and grants a better understanding of her client’s journey.
