For most people, sex contributes in positive ways to the quality of life. However, about three to six percent of Americans have sexual addiction. Like all addictions, its negative impact on the addict and on family members usually increases as the disorder progresses. Sexual addiction is best described as a progressive intimacy disorder characterized by compulsive sexual thoughts and acts.
NorthPoint's Men's Sexual Integrity GROUP II Program is an 8-week small group program for men with sexual compulsion/addiction. It is for men who have already started a recovery journey. Participants will become aware of their addiction cycle, sexual arousal template and more- all done in an atmosphere of safety, confidentiality, and respect. Participants will leave with a written recovery plan as well as completing tasks (performables) necessary for recovery.
